Viagra with lexapro

sir I had been using lexapro with my antipsychotic and lost my sexual drive due to ssri. i have discountinued lexapro. how much time will it take to regain my sexuall good feeling.

I know 3 people personally that are taking Lexapro and all 3 say it works fine, with the exception of no sex drive for which they take viagra. Also they take a 3rd medication because of the side effects of the viagra. Seems like a lot of meds to me. They suffered from depression. However, I have never been clinically depressed and usually I feel fine. My problem was insomnia due to working 7pm to 7am overnight shifts with lots of overtime.

I asked if it causes weight gain and he said no. But since he said the same with lexapro. I am concerned. I can't afford to gain more weight. I'm 5'2" and up to 140 now and nothing fits. Its making me more depressed! Am I more likely to gain weight with the Effexor again? I really wish there was something that could work without these side effects. When I was on Lexapro I felt the best I've ever felt in my life but the side effects were hurting my marriage and self esteem.

There can be sexual side effects with SSRIs like Lexapro. I have never taken Viagra. so I would not be able to really share an experience with it. Taking an SSRI, usually does have some side effects and the benefits often have to be weighed with them. You are definitely doing the right thing, in my opinion, by working through this with your doctor.

I could argue, in fact, the the first drug ever legally created from the get-go with a recreational purpose in mind is Viagra. Odd, when you think about it: whereas the drugs we call "recreational" are taken with the intent of creating an altered state of awareness or consiousness which we could not create on our own, the Viagra is intended to let us be the way we know we CAN be on our own -or once were.

Nothing you mentioned seems to be causal of neck pain, but only a good examination will confirm that. I recommend a consultation with a good therapist.

And already i'm having the same problem i've had in the past with anti depressants. Lexapro prozak paxil ect. Are the meds to counter this? Levitra? Viagra? I have no problem with erections. Does this effect wear off? Do i need to switch meds. This has the potential to be very embarrassing for me. Please help.

If you feel Lexapro is more effective in controlling your symptoms, you may want to continue treatment with that rather than Zoloft, although Lexapro will also effect your sex drive. Your doctor, along with your input, have to decide whether the benefits of the medications outweigh the side effects. There are also additional steps you may take to assist in your sexual performance such as Viagra, although that will not increase your sex drive(the desire to have sex).

I have been under medical care for Bi-Polar Disorder since 1997. I used to enjoy sex. I have been totally uninterested in sex for several years now. It makes it very difficult for my spouse. I have had discussions about this with my Psychiatrist; no help so far. What I need to know is: "What drugs are available for Sexually Disfuctional Women". Just to let you know, I take Lithium, Lexapro, Wellbutrin XL, Ativan and Ambien CR.

What have you done. I've experienced this with Lexapro. and Zoloft. However, when I'm not taking medication, I'm too crazy for him to be interested in me.

For the first two months of the relationship, when I was with my girlfriend, I would take a supplement similar to extenze, which contains DHEA and Pregnenolone. With this medication, I was able to get and maintain an erection with no problems. My ED really got bad when I went to visit a urologist and he told me that I should take viagra and gave me a sample of the medication to take. Ever since then, I have been unable to get a full erection without viagra, cialis, or levitra.

I should add that the week before withdrawal, I was mistakenly cutting the Wellbutrin XL tablets in half and taking them all at once with the Lexapro. This happened for 6 days before my Physicians Assistant told me my mistake, that cutting XL tablets releases them immediately. During the six days I had heart palpitations, was sweaty, nauseous, anxiety, and felt terrible. I was essentially overdosing on the Wellbutrin combined with lexapro.

You are only 22 and have just started your adult wonderful experiences with sex. Try everything you can. And, viagra works for women too although not advertised often.

My husband was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder and has been on Lexapro and Abilify (different doses) for the last 7 months. The doctor is adjusting the doses, but it seems that my husband has lost his drive for sex and for much of anything. He is depressed. Our sex life is literally down to once or twice a month if at that. I miss my husband. He has had some improvements in his anger level and in his moods.

I don't want it to ruin this new thing. It seems like it is nerves. but can viagra help with this? I am only 27. I wake up with morning erections, so my unit seems to still work. I am nerved out I think. I have not been masturbating lately either, I used to do it a lot but I went like a week or two without, and I did it this morning and came before I even got hard. Is it broken? Should I try viagra or something?

I'm not even sure what is going on with the lesion any more!

She also said that I shouldnt be having sex everyday as I am getting older(38 years old). She suggested that I take lexapro as her clients have had great sucess with it. I had taken it for 3 years prior to my divorce due to stress with my ex but stopped it in Jan 2006. The sex therapist also suggested I try viagra on a regular basis to help.

Borderline high blood pressure 130/90, controlled to 120/75 with 25 mg Atenolol once daily. I had this problem before I developed HBP. Otherwise good health per physical results (cholesterol and blood sugar in normal limits). Experiencing periodic horizontal binocular diplopia with exertion (always), coffee (sometimes), alcohol (always), stress (sometimes). As the distance to the object increases, the doubled images are further apart. Eyes sometimes feel sluggish. Occasional headache.

1) What can I do to prevent our herpes hurting the baby? I assume that with us having sex about 100 times a month there is no way she doesn't have herpes if I have it. She is about one month pregnant. 2) I know this is probably a dead end, but is there any medication to help me control my sex drive, something that does the opposite of Viagra?

During that time I do want to say that my sex life was poor. Celexa really put a hamper on all desires. I ended up taking Viagra and it helped but, even with Viagra it was difficult to maintain an erection. I felt like a misfit in that reguard while on Celexa. As I mentioned before I am single now and off of Celexa so I can not say how the after life of Celexa is. There are other side effects but those are the ones that come to mind off hand.

Now I am really depressed and with my mental state I keep mixing my riba, my lexapro. my Ambien and Viagra all at once. Wife says its a good combination though I don't roll out of the bed while I'm sleeping anymore. I just don't remember. Now I don't know what NYgirl meant by fudge pops and simplehue meant by no pun intended. Pun was my problem all along. All of you have a great evening I'll be at the pool hall watching.

I am not a doctor but I have to say, with all the check-ups you've had, I'd say it is panic disorder. Even if they seem to come out of nowhere, they can still be caused by stress (you may not realize you are stressed but life-changes, work, school, etc. can cause this), caffeine (or energy drinks), smoking, medications like Adderall (amphetamine salts) or anything that is stimulating. The curious thing is, I have panic disorder and I take Lexapro, Klonopin and Adderall.

Although AD's tend to have nasty effects on people with BP they can be used in conjunction with mood stabilizers, although there are some that through experience a lot of people would say they haven't got along with either on or off MS - such as prozac. MAO's are still in use and tend to be given when all SSRI's have been tried to no avail.

I know, the money has to come from somewhere. But for someone new, to come here looking for real answers, presented with "Dr. Chang's miracle HepC treatment" ads is out of line. What's next? Viagra ads? Is MedHelp that broke that ANY ad will do?

Was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue. Anxiety was more of an issue than depression, but was put on Wellbutrin 150 XL because dr. had had success with it and said "depression and anxiety are different sides of the same coin" when I questioned being put on an antidepressant when I was anxious. About 8 months later, my anxiety is worse and while my dr.

I would also include that there are many other drugs that also have gastly withdrawl effects such as Paxil, Pristiq, Cymbalta, and many Tri-cyclics such as Amitriptilyne and Nortriptilyne. Not everyone responds to drugs such as Prozac, Zoloft, Lexapro. and other antidepressants with a lower occurance of withdrawl effect. Do I think Effexor or any SNRI drug should be used as a first line antidepressant? No way.

When the doc augmented the Remeron with Celexa, it helped with the premature ejaculation but killed my desire even more. We are stumped as to how to get my desire back while also getting rid of this premature ejaculation problem. I am about to suggest going back on 25 mg Zoloft with a bit of Wellbutrin (while staying on Rememeron), although we have been trying to avoid the anxiety from meds like this, and my doctor thinks the zoloft (or any other ssri) will kill my sex drive even more.

I have been having more fun daily, trying to lower my stress level and more intimate time with my wife. Asperin is like low cost Viagra just kidding.
